JULIANA PRANAis the world’s first line of vegan cosmetics to exclusively support rescued animals with 100% of profits from sales given Juliana’s Animal Sanctuary, a 501c3 registered non-profit in Maryland, USA.

The vegan makeup line is launching via Kickstarter on September 20th and will be offering discounted perks for backers willing to help the non-profit fund its initial production that will include Matte Lipstick, Aloe Foundation, Pressed Eyeshadow Powder, Cream Concealer, and Lash Extending Mascara.

The inspiration for this innovative social enterprise comes from providing love and caring for the animals at Juliana’s Animal Sanctuary (www.JulianasAnimalSanctuary.org) the only farmed animal sanctuary in Colombia, South America.

In a world so divided, JULIANA PRANA’s mission is to promote equality for all beings by allowing makeup lovers to express their inner and outer beauty with 100% natural cosmetics and 100% of profits to help rescued animals. The brand’s unique tagline: Beauty with Compassion perfectly illustrates this point.

Prana is a Sanskrit word that means life force, and it also stands for Protecting Rescued Animals Now and Always (PRANA).

Juliana’s Animal Sanctuary was founded in 2009 by Juliana Castaneda Turner and registered as a non-profit in the US in 2015 with a platinum status on Guidestar. The sanctuary currently cares for 96 animals and was the first animal sanctuary established in South America.

100% for Animal Rescue

All the profits from the sale of Juliana Prana Makeup™ go directly to helping rescued animals at Juliana’s Animal Sanctuary.

The PRANA in our brand name spells out our intentions:

Protecting Rescued Animals Now & Always

Beauty with Compassion

Juliana’s Animal Sanctuary is a 501c3 registered charity in the United States, however, the sanctuary is located in Colombia, South America.

Juliana’s Animal Sanctuary was the first farmed animal sanctuary established in all of South America in 2009 and is the only one existing in Colombia, where we currently care for 80 rescued animals, including bullocks, pigs, roosters, chickens, rabbits, dogs, cats and a cow. We believe that all animals deserve respect and protection. Our slogan:

Our slogan: Spiritual Equality for all Beings is something we learned from Saint Francis of Assisi, who taught that all animals are our brothers and sisters. In addition to our extensive animal rescue work, we place a high priority on vegan advocacy through direct contact, cooking classes, and a strong online and media presence.
